Chief Financial Officer
Tue Saabye is a seasoned finance executive within the container shipping and offshore sectors. Tue commenced his career in 1998 as an auditor in Deloitte, then spent 9 years with A.P. Moller-Maersk group in various senior finance position including CFO Maersk Taiwan, CFO Maersk Line Scandinavia and Regional CFO of Svitzer India-Middle East-Africa. Tue likewise served as Managing Director of Maersk Line in Togo, West Africa.
Non-Executive Director
Rod Gregory has over 45 years’ experience in the steel and metals related industries, including distribution, importing and manufacturing. Specialising in business turnarounds by developing strategic direction with a strong focus on deployment and growth, Rod has led various reporting divisions for corporate entities, developed and implemented strategic plans for offshore entities throughout Asia and Middle East, and developed greenfield joint venture businesses in Australia.
Non-Executive Director
Lindsay Phillips has been involved in private equity for over 30 years and is currently Chairman of two investment funds – Phoenix Development Fund Limited and Nightingale Partners – focused on providing patient expansion capital to family companies. He serves as a Director of most of the companies in which these funds are invested and became a member of the Spectainer board in January 2020. Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
Managing Director
Nicholas Press has over 15 years’ experience in logistics, operations management and capability integration and sustainment, including an extensive military career. A graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon, Australia, Nicholas served as a Major in the Australian Defence Force, leading many logistical operations whilst being stationed in East Timor, Kuwait, Afghanistan and the UAE. He holds a Masters of Management Logistics from the University of New South Wales and multiple command, operations and logistics qualifications from the Australian Defence Force and United Nations.
